How to organise a 30-day fitness challenge
A useful 30-day challenge gives participants a clear structure without assuming everyone should train intensely every day. Start with a shared goal, define flexible participation rules and plan recovery before the challenge begins.
30-day challenge checklist
- Choose one clear group objective.
- Ask each participant to select an appropriate starting level.
- Schedule two or more recovery or mobility options each week.
- Define how scaled reps and substitutions count.
- Choose a weekly check-in time.
- Decide whether the leaderboard rewards volume, consistency or completion.
- Record pain or access limitations privately rather than asking people to disclose them to the group.
A reusable weekly pattern
Alternate lower-body, upper-body and mixed sessions. Add low-intensity mobility, walking or complete rest between harder sessions. Repeat the structure for four weeks, adjusting volume rather than forcing a fixed target.
Use competition carefully
A leaderboard can make progress visible, but it should not reward unsafe volume. Agree that clean, controlled attempts matter more than rushing. KORE's camera counter can support selected exercises, subject to the camera and setup limitations.
