1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Kore mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Kore ("we," "our," or "us"). Your use of the App is also governed by Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA), available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.
2. Description of Service
Kore is a competitive social fitness application that allows users to:
- Complete and log camera-verified bodyweight workouts
- Compete with friends and squad members on leaderboards
- Receive AI-powered coaching and fitness guidance
- Track streaks, points, and fitness progress
- Participate in daily and weekly challenges
3. User Accounts & Identity
Kore uses device-based identity — no account registration or password is required. Your profile is tied to your device. You are responsible for all activity originating from your device.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
- Attempt to manipulate or falsify workout verification data
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code
- Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our servers or networks
5. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
Kore offers optional premium features through in-app purchases and subscriptions ("Kore Pro"). All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law.
6. Camera & Health Data
The App uses your device camera to count and verify exercise repetitions. Camera data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. We do not store video footage.
The App is intended for general fitness use only and does not provide medical advice. Consult a healthcare professional before beginning any exercise programme.
7. User Content
You may share a display name, avatar, and participate in squad leaderboards. By submitting content to the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to display that content to other users within the App.
You retain ownership of any content you submit. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
8. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to our data practices as described therein. We collect minimal data necessary to operate the service, including device identifiers and workout activity.
9. Intellectual Property
The App and all of its content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, graphics, and design) are owned by Kore and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any portion of the App without our express written permission.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KORE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING ANY PHYSICAL INJURY ARISING FROM EXERCISE ACTIVITIES.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
